Each applicant is permitted two (2) job turndowns without penalty, and will be removed from the list for a third (3rd) turndown. Any applicant removed from the available for work list must resign in person. There shall be no distinction between a short call turndown and full call turndown.
Example: There are 100 persons on the available for work list and there are calls for 4 Journeyman Wireman (JWs). Number 37 on the list mans the last job. Every applicant from #1 to #36 that did not take a job or was unavailable gets a turndown (ding) regardless of the type of call. As stated previously, an individual receiving three (3) turndowns (dings) will be promptly removed from the available for work list.
